What TestMyPing provides

TestMyPing provides a free, browser-based tool that measures HTTP latency between your device and a hostname or IP address you specify. The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

What you may and may not do

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or deliberately flood a target with excessive requests.
• Ping hosts that you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
• Automate bulk pings using scripts, bots, or programmatic access at a rate that disrupts third-party services.
• Circumvent any security measures on the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under applicable law.

Violation of these terms may result in your IP being blocked from the Service.

No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the latency measurements produced by the Service will be accurate, complete, or reflective of actual network conditions. Browser HTTP latency measurements differ from ICMP ping and may be affected by browser caching, connection pooling, TLS handshake overhead, and other factors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TestMyPing.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed USD $10 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.

Ownership

All content, design, code, and assets on TestMyPing.com — excluding open-source libraries which retain their respective licenses — are the intellectual property of TestMyPing.com. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

Modifications to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
